Worker Guide

Best worker Pals for every Palworld base

The best base workers are not just the highest-suitability Pals; they are the Pals that match the base's job, path cleanly, and keep production moving without constant rescue.

This is the worker hub page. Add exact suitability levels after a structured work-suitability table is imported.

Selection rules

Setup steps

1

Assign two or three Pals around the main output instead of filling every slot with unrelated jobs.

2

Place storage beside production stations so transporting does not become the hidden bottleneck.

3

Watch for workers stuck on terrain before assuming the Pal choice is bad.

4

Run a short work cycle and watch whether all-purpose bases stops because of worker choice, missing inputs, or storage distance. Fix the first repeated failure before replacing every Pal.

5

Keep one slot flexible for transport, food, or cleanup so the specialist workers can stay on all-purpose bases instead of being dragged into side jobs.

All-purpose bases decision notes

6 candidates

Start with the candidate that matches the base's actual job, then compare Anubis, Jormuntide Ignis, Orserk, Lyleen against pathing and availability. A specialist is valuable when the station is busy; a flexible Pal is valuable when the base has several small jobs competing for the same worker slots.

If all-purpose bases still feels slow after assigning workers, check the input chain first: Ore, Coal, Crude Oil.Worker selection fixes suitability, but it cannot fix missing inputs, distant storage, blocked paths, or a base that is trying to run too many unrelated chains at once.

Practical tips

  • Anubis is a strong general candidate because handiwork and mining both matter in production bases.
  • Jormuntide Ignis is most valuable when Kindling throughput gates ingots, cakes, or cooked supplies.
  • Orserk fits electricity-heavy bases better than early bases that barely use power.
  • A lower-tier worker in a clean layout can outperform a stronger worker that has to cross the whole base for every task.
  • Use this guide together with the related resource pages so worker planning follows the material chain instead of guessing from suitability alone.

Avoid this

  • Do not choose workers only by maximum suitability number.
  • Do not mix every production chain into one base if pathing and storage are already strained.
  • Do not judge the worker setup after one interrupted cycle; watch for the same bottleneck repeating before rebuilding.
  • Do not add more stations until the current workers can keep one production lane moving consistently.
