Split-screen is different from multiplayer
Split-screen means two players share one screen and one local device. Online multiplayer means each player joins from their own device or account. Many Palworld searches mix those two ideas, so check for split-screen specifically instead of assuming multiplayer support means couch co-op.
Use online co-op planning instead
If the goal is to play together reliably, plan around separate devices and a shared world. Test joining, decide who hosts, and choose a starter base that both players can reach safely. That workflow is more dependable than building a plan around an unsupported local mode.
What to test before a shared save
Before investing in a group base, have both players join, place a small storage box, fast travel, and reconnect. If the session survives that basic test, move into resource roles and base planning.
