How to use the breeding calculator

Start with Target mode when you know the child Pal you want. Switch to Parents mode when you are checking what two Pals can produce, or use Owned mode when your real question is whether your current Palbox can make the target without another capture run.

  • Use the search box for quick names such as Jormuntide, Jormuntide Ignis, Astegon, Azurmane, or Anubis.
  • Use Child Pal when the final egg matters more than the parent pair.
  • Use Owned Pals with comma-separated names to find direct routes from what you already have.

What the route quality tags mean

Quality labels are scanning hints, not a promise that one route is always best for every save. Matrix rows come from the full imported dataset. Recommended, notable, and accessible rows are extra editorial signals carried over for high-intent targets.

The calculator intentionally keeps full matrix rows separate from full guide pages. That lets pair lookup stay broad while guide pages focus on routes with enough context, source notes, and planning advice.

Breeding calculator FAQ

How do I use the Palworld breeding calculator?

Choose a target child Pal, select one or both parents, or switch to Owned mode and enter comma-separated Pal names from your Palbox to find direct and near-miss breeding routes.

Does this breeding calculator include Palworld 1.0 combos?

Yes. The calculator uses 44851 imported Palworld 1.0 matrix rows and links high-intent targets to individual breeding guide pages when available.

When should I use Owned mode?

Use Owned mode when you want to know whether your current Palbox can make a target without another capture run. It also shows near-miss routes that need one missing parent.

Do I need Cake for every breeding route?

Yes. Valid parent pairs still need Cake supply, Breeding Farm space, and egg handling before they turn into repeatable routes.

Palworld 1.0 data note

Palworld 1.0 changed enough breeding data that older route lists can be misleading. Use this calculator for current matrix rows, then open the full guide page when the target has one. For high-value routes, confirm the pair before spending Cake, incubator time, or carefully selected passive parents.
